According to the statistics of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in February 2025, China's automobile production and sales completed 2.103 million vehicles and 2.129 million vehicles respectively, with year-on-year growth of 39.6% and 34.4% respectively. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 888,000 vehicles and 892,000 vehicles respectively, with year-on-year growth of 91.5% and 87.1% respectively; the sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 41.9% of the total sales of new vehicles.
From January to February, China's automobile production and sales completed 4.553 million vehicles and 4.552 million vehicles respectively, with year-on-year growth of 16.2% and 13.1% respectively. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 1.903 million vehicles and 1.835 million vehicles respectively, both with a year-on-year growth of 52%; the sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 40.3% of the total sales of new vehicles.
In February, China's automobile exports reached 441,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year growth of 16.9%, among which new energy vehicle exports were 131,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year growth of 60.5%. From January to February, China's automobile exports were 911,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year growth of 10.9%, among which new energy vehicle exports were 282,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year growth of 54.5%.
